Testimonials

Parmjit is a wonderful therapist and her ‘Mindful Eating‘ workshops are well planned, very informative, extremely encouraging and provide the impetus for change. They initiate a path towards self-reflection and foster positive behaviours, which bring about a more lasting success in both dieting and maintenance. We had a terrific group and Parmjit was very skilled at giving each of us a voice and affirming our individual needs. Each workshop was different yet tied in well with our previous sessions.

She supported her ideas and intended direction with interesting articles and research. Our group actually chose to continue together for an additional four classes which were highly beneficial. Parmjit has a medical background, years of experience in group and individual counselling and the expertise required to make her clients more confident that if they are indeed more ‘mindful’ in their endeavours, they can achieve lasting success in weight loss and improve their overall health and well being.

Parmjit presented to our Gr 4-6 girls at our Girls Night In. She introduced the girls to a whole new way of dealing with stress and calming techniques using age-appropriate activities. It was wonderful to see how surprised the girls were to learn that simple techniqueS can bring their heart rates and stress levels down quickly and easily. We look forward to having Parmjit back to the school!

I have taken part in both personal sessions and the Mindful Eating workshop offered by Parmjit. Parmjit’s calm, gentle and non-judgmental nature made it easy to open up and get the most out of the sessions.

The group workshop made me realize that I was not alone in my struggle. All the participants were very supportive of each other. I would highly recommend both the personal sessions and the workshops.
